Scrum Master / Project Manager
Job Description
Role Summary
The Scrum Master / Project Manager will lead multiple Agile teams, manage end-to-end delivery workflows, and ensure smooth execution of ticketing, issue resolution, and cross-team coordination. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, Agile ceremonies, and direct client communication for requirements clarification, status reporting, and backlog alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure ADO boards are structured, updated, and fully aligned with sprint goals and delivery commitments.
- Drive backlog grooming sessions with Product Owners, clients, and internal teams.
- Monitor sprint progress, remove blockers, and ensure smooth delivery of committed work.
Ticketing, Work Management & Issue Resolution
- Manage end-to-end ticket lifecycle in Azure DevOps (ADO) — creation, triage, prioritization, assignment, tracking, and closure.
- Ensure timely resolution of client-raised issues and production tickets through coordination with dev/QA/ops teams.
- Analyze ticket trends to identify process gaps, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary delivery contact for clients regarding status updates, requirement clarifications, ticket discussions, and dependency resolution.
- Conduct weekly status calls, share progress reports, and proactively highlight risks or delays.
- Translate business requirements from client conversations into actionable user stories.
Cross-Team Coordination
- Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, DevOps, and external/partner teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Handle cross-team dependencies, integration issues, and priority conflicts.
- Ensure collaboration channels are open, structured, and efficient.
Delivery Governance & Reporting
- Track sprint metrics, velocity, burndown, and flow efficiency through ADO dashboards.
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Support continuous improvement by identifying delivery bottlenecks and implementing process enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–12 years of experience as Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, sprint planning, ticket management, and dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, client coordination, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred).
- Ability to translate business needs into user stories and technical tasks.
- Proven track record in issue management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud, data, or application modernization projects.
- Certifications: CSM, PSM, PMP, or SAFe preferred.
- Experience working directly with global clients.
- Familiarity with automation tools used in Agile PM (AI‑based status summaries, automated dashboards, etc.)
