Administrative Data Specialist - Hybrid
Charlotte-based healthcare organization is seeking an Administrative Data Specialist to support patient coordination, documentation processing, and office operations. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a mix of data entry and patient interaction. Hybrid schedule with pay up to $22 an hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and data entry support for patient and insurance documentation
- Contact patients to obtain required information for insurance approvals and equipment qualification
- Follow up with physician offices to collect and verify necessary forms
- Review, process, and maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Send and track insurance-related forms via mail or fax
- Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with internal processes
- Assist with scanning, filing, and general office support tasks
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy expectations
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, call center, or data entry role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with Windows-based systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
