Seasonal Mechanic Assistant – $37,440-$45,760 DOE + Growth Opportunity

Pay: $18–$22/hour (DOE)

Republic Moving & Storage is hiring a Mechanic Assistant to support our fleet mechanic(trucks, trailers, liftgates). This is a hands-on role for someone who already knows the basics and wants to grow into a full mechanic.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with oil changes, tires, inspections, basic repairs and maintenance
Pick up/run parts using company vehicle
Keep shop organized and running efficiently
What You MUST Have (Read Carefully):
Some real hands-on mechanic experience (not just interest)
Clean driving record + valid license (you will be driving)
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physical environment
Show up on time and be reliable
Big Plus If You Have:
Diesel / truck / liftgate experience
DOT inspection familiarity
Forklift experience
