Responsibilities
Availability weekdays and weekends 10:30AM - 6:30PM shifts.
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure readiness for cooking and plating
Assist in assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks, including portioning and garnishing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
Handle food items safely, following proper storage procedures and sanitation guidelines
Assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision, including heating, mixing, and plating meals
Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed to meet service demands
Qualifications
Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
Prior food preparation or kitchen experience in restaurants or food industry settings is preferred
Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and safety standards is essential
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques are advantageous
Familiarity with food service operations, including cooking, serving, and catering processes
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
