Job Title: Recruiter

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Employment Type: Contract, approximately 3 months
Compensation: $30–$40/hour
Position Summary
A growing organization in the Huntersville area is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hourly and salaried hiring needs across manufacturing, warehouse, customer service, IT, and engineering functions. This position will serve as the primary recruiter and will manage the recruiting process from requisition intake through offer extension. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple open requisitions, and maintain clear organization throughout the talent acquisition process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage up to 10 open requisitions at a time across exempt and non-exempt roles
- Recruit for warehouse, manufacturing, customer service, IT, and quality engineering positions
- Open requisitions and maintain candidate applications in the ATS
- Conduct initial candidate screens and assess qualifications against position requirements
- Coordinate candidates through the full recruiting process, from application review through offer stage
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers and internal stakeholders
- Prepare and extend offer letters
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition activity in the ATS
- Communicate clearly with candidates and hiring teams throughout the process
- Organize recruiting priorities and manage workflow with minimal supervision
- Support pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screen coordination
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment
- Experience recruiting for hourly roles; experience with exempt roles preferred
- Ability to manage the recruiting process independently with limited hand-holding
- Experience opening requisitions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending offers
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions at once
- Ability to explain and maintain a structured talent acquisition process
- ATS experience required
