Commercial Electrical Foreman

Our teams are active in commercial buildings, ground up construction, tenant improvements, hospitality, retail, fitness, multifamily, infrastructure, power distribution, lighting, controls, data pathways, service upgrades, underground, rough in, gear, panels, equipment connections, and large scale electrical installations.
Our foremen are supported throughout the entire job, from layout and manpower planning to material coordination, RFIs, inspections, closeout, and final turnover. They work with project managers, superintendents, general foremen, purchasing, scheduling, field operations, vendor accounts, equipment support, company leadership, and in house engineering resources to help keep projects organized, moving, and professionally executed.

What You Will Do
Lead commercial electrical crews in the field.
Read and understand plans, specifications, schedules, details, and shop drawings.
Lay out work and help keep production moving.
Plan manpower, material needs, tools, equipment, inspections, and upcoming project requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, general foremen, general contractors, inspectors, vendors, and other trades.
Lead installation of conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, devices, underground, equipment connections, low voltage pathways, data pathways, rough in, trim out, punch list, and closeout work.
Identify plan conflicts, missing information, field conditions, RFI items, and change order conditions early.
Communicate field issues clearly so the project team can help support the work properly.
Maintain safety, housekeeping, code compliance, quality control, and BLVD Electric field standards.
Track daily progress, manpower, material needs, deliveries, inspections, and jobsite conditions.
Represent BLVD Electric professionally with general contractors, inspectors, clients, vendors, and other trades.
What We Are Looking For
Experienced commercial electrical foreman or strong lead electrician ready to run work.
Strong commercial electrical background.
Ability to read plans and lead from the drawings.
Experience running crews on commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of NEC and commercial electrical installation methods.
Ability to coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, project managers, superintendents, general foremen, and other trades.
Strong communication, planning, and field problem solving ability.
Reliable, organized, professional, and accountable.
Ability to take ownership of production, safety, quality, manpower, and communication.
Basic hand tools required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
California Journeyman Certification preferred.
Pay
Commercial Electrical Foreman: $37.00 to $42.00 per hour
Experienced / Senior Foreman Candidates: $42.00 to $47.00 per hour
Top-Level Foreman / Field Leadership Candidates: up to $50.00 per hour
BLVD Electric reviews pay based on experience, certification level, commercial project background, crew leadership, ability to read and run work from plans, production ability, communication, reliability, project assignment, and the level of responsibility the candidate is ready to take on.
Top-level compensation is available for proven field leaders with the experience, communication, production ability, and leadership needed to run larger work and represent BLVD Electric at a high level in the field.
