JAMES - Male, caucasian, 50s. Long dark hair, lean. A hard past 30 years behind him. Funny, profane, unflinching — the kind of man people say should've been doing stand up, but on the flipside the darkness is real and the role requires both without apology.
JACOB - Male, caucasian, 30s. Oblivious and fatally forgivable. He's not dumb, but as his life goes to flames he can't see why people are so pissed. Jacob's smile has got him out of trouble before but this time it's wearing thin.
The sides are dialog heavy and the actors must be quick of tongue and mind.
