Job Title: Electric Bike Technician
Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Job Summary: This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric bikes to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on electric bikes.
• Perform routine maintenance, including tire changes, brake adjustments, and battery servicing.
• Assemble and perform quality control checks on new electric bike models.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, repairs, and recommendations.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts inventory.
• Stay updated on the latest electric bike technologies and repair techniques.
• Ensure a clean and organized workshop environment.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in bicycle repair or relevant field preferred.
• Experience working with electric bikes or related mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Proficient in using standard tools and diagnostic equipment related to bike repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
