We’re looking for a Creative Operations Manager / Producer who can see the full picture of a modern creative agency — and help us make it smarter, stronger, and more future-proof over time.
This role is for someone with real production and/or creative agency experience who doesn’t just keep the wheels turning, but is constantly looking for ways to improve how the business operates: workflows, systems, tools, communication, and execution. You’ll be a close operational partner to leadership and a central point of accountability across projects, Clients, and internal teams.
A core part of this role is actively engaging with new technology — especially AI — to improve how work gets done. We don’t expect you to have been doing this for a decade (no one has). What we do expect is curiosity, hands-on experimentation, and genuine excitement about how AI is reshaping media, production, and operations — and a desire to apply that thinking in real, practical ways.
Much of our work sits squarely in the Creator economy, so people who are deeply aware of YouTube, short-form video, social platforms, and modern content formats will have a major advantage.
If you’re the kind of person who naturally asks:
“There has to be a better way to do this — what if we tried…”. this role will feel like home.
Location: Hybrid / Flexible
Private on-site office at our El Segundo production studio (1-3 Days per week depending on project activation)
Start: ASAP (flexible within ~3 weeks)
Salary: $80–90k + medical, PTO, holidays, bonuses, annual raises, 401k / profit sharing
Who We Are
We’re a full-service creative agency and production studio with 25+ years in the industry — but we operate like a startup. Much of our work sits at the center of the Creator economy, partnering with major platforms, brands, and Creators across YouTube, SFV, social, and digital campaigns.
We produce high-impact content across stage, field, post, creative development, and strategy — and we care deeply about quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are
You’ve owned complex creative projects end-to-end and enjoy being the central point of accountability. You think in systems, anticipate problems before they happen, and constantly refine how work gets done.
You are:
- Deeply fluent in modern content ecosystems (YouTube, TT, Insta,)
- AI-literate and curious — actively using AI tools to improve workflows, planning, communication, and production
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and building structure where none exists
- Calm, sharp, and credible with Clients, Creators, and crews
- Motivated by growth, learning, and making the business smarter over time
- Familiarity with Influencer Contracting is a plus
This role will not work well for someone who wants to do things “the way they’ve always been done.”
What You’ll Do
- Own small-to-large creative projects (including physical productions)
- Act as a core operational partner to leadership
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal workflows and systems
- Line produce, manage budgets, track expenses, and oversee vendor payments
- Book crews, manage schedules, and coordinate resources
- Liaise directly with Clients, Creators, and strategic partners
- Handle contracts, timesheets, payroll coordination, and light bookkeeping (QuickBooks)
- Support stage rentals, remote productions, and live events
- Introduce smarter tools, automation, and AI-driven efficiencies wherever possible
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing creative productions or operations independently
- Strong grasp of production workflows, budgets, contracts, and vendors
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong systems thinking
- High proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly (AI tools a major plus)
- Consistent, reliable, and proactive
- Bachelor’s degree required
