Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of demolition tasks at jobsites by performing the following duties. Interior and Exterior Demolition work at a residential and commercial property throughout San Diego County
This is a hands-on field role that includes construction cleanup, demolition, debris removal, and possibly minor equipment operation. While you will be working at various job sites using both hand and power tools to help maintain a clean and safe environment, our top priority is hiring a dependable Class B driver to handle the transportation of materials throughout San Diego County. Experience with roll-off containers is a strong plus—if you have this skill, please be sure to highlight it in your application email.
Key Responsibilities
• Load construction and solid waste debris into dump trucks and dumpsters using wheelbarrows and by hand
• Clean job sites using brooms, shovels, and other tools to remove dirt and debris
• Assist in the demolition of structures using hand tools, power tools, Bobcat, or excavator (if trained)
• Sort and salvage materials for recycling or reuse
• Operate demolition equipment under supervision (jackhammers, excavators, bulldozers, etc.)
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Complete tasks independently and meet project deadlines
Requirements:
• Must have dependable personal transportation and valid auto insurance (mileage between job sites reimbursed)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or demolition preferred
• Rolloff experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to safely lift, load, and transport heavy materials
• Proficient with hand and power tools (jackhammers, brooms, wheelbarrows, etc.)
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
• Must participate in direct deposit payroll
• Required to wear safety gear: hardhat, gloves, goggles, etc.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Qualifications:
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks for extended periods
• Experience operating Bobcat or excavator is a plus (but not required)
