OverviewWith 18,000 Small Business clients across the United Stes, we provide custom tailored solutions to help small businesses build better Benefits and HR stregies. Our Small Business Producers are dediced to driving new business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence in the small business market. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on high-volume deal closure. Success in this position involves building a robust pipeline, striving to close one new deal per week, and developing a personal brand aligned with Gallagher’s high-achieving, collaborive, and innovive culture.

- Consultive Sales Approach: Act as a consultant on your book of business, with account management support to maintain and grow your client base.
How you'll make an impact- Act as an entrepreneur, developing a book of business by acquiring new clients and closing one new deal per week.
- Build and maintain a network of internal and external contacts to help genere leads and referrals.
- Establish and maintain a new business pipeline of qualified leads exceeding five times goal. Weekly, ensure all tracked pipeline informion is current and reflects actual activity and stage in the sales process.
- Prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently, enabling you to handle multiple prospects and clients simultaneously. Embrace resilience and persistence to maintain motivion and focus, transforming challenges and setbacks into opportunities for growth and success in a high-volume sales environment.
- Conduct client discovery with confidence, engaging with business owners and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Capably consult clients independently, recognizing opportunities to bring in other subject mter experts as needed.
- Schedule regular check-ins with the Client Service team to stay informed about account stus and stregize on expanding accounts.
- Take responsibility for scheduling internal client account review meetings, ensuring timely and thorough completion of prescribed process to ensure client retention, always thinking creively about next steps needed to expand the account.
- Semi-annually or as often as necessary, brief the Regional Small Business Market Leader and the Area President/Area EVP as to the stus of all key accounts.
- Enthusiastically embrace and partner with the Gallagher Benefit Services organizion:
- Identify an internal network of supportive figures (Producer peers, Consultants, Leaders, etc.) to be relied upon for guidance and advice. Set informal meetings with these individuals as needed.
- Be able to introduce the Small Business Solutions (across all business lines) an articule our value to prospects and clients, with the goal of providing introductions to other relevant Gallagher SMEs.
- Identify a Gallagher Global Broking (GGB P&C) Producer or Producers to partner with, starting with identifying opportunities and providing warm introductions for th Producer among your GBS clients and requesting reciprocal introductions to GGB clients.
- Within six months, gain introductions to division level resource leaders across the breadth of the Gallagher Better Works model.
- Know your competition. Provide informion as to wins/losses you are aware of in the market and always schedule post-presention reviews th include all Gallagher participants.
- Regularly solicit feedback on your performance in client-facing and internal colleague-facing settings.
- At prospecting, proposal, and account management stages, provide training through partnership with junior team members. Highlight complex client stregy and technical analysis as well as emphasis on client value, compliance and ethical conduct.
- Speak up regarding succession opportunities of interest. Provide guidance to leaders who seek to ensure your career progresses in the most rewarding manner possible.
About YouRequired: Bachelor's degree, 1 year reled experience, and approprie insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participion in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and approprie insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
Preferred: Professional designion may be preferred

The actual compension will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, educion, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
