Primary PurposePRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONEngage in job duties outlined below, to reduce risk exposure in areas of physical security; and to promote our mission of safeguarding the people, property, reputation and shareholder value of the corporation. Provide secure tactical driving services for Exelon executives with 24/7 availability Conduct counter-surveillance services for select Exelon executives Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all corporate matters, especially executive conversations and communications Provide security/protective services for events held by or attended by select Exelon executives, and ensure a smooth transition from each venue Conduct dignitary advances, security assessments and investigations on an as needed basis Interface with and maintain a working relationship with federal, state and local law enforcement professionals, executive protection specialists in other corporations, and vendors providing executive protection services Plan and provide protection services for international travel Provide residential vulnerability assessment services, including the coordination of security system installations/upgrades, to select executives Conduct independent, complex, impactful, highly confidential investigations throughout the Corporation Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired investigative results, and make recommendations in support of correcting internal controls issues and/or policy/procedural deficiencies surfaced by the investigation Plan, organize, and conduct minimal to complex investigations of alleged violations of law or the Company's Code of Business Conduct Conduct investigative as well as information-seeking interviews of employees and non-employees, document investigations, handle evidence, and maintain liaison status with internal and external resources in order to achieve favorable results that support Exelon's business units and efforts Provide controls and risk mitigation recommendations to management Prepare clear, comprehensive, and cohesive investigative reports based upon established procedures Engage regulators and councils on critical infrastructure Act as a liaison to law enforcement networks

Primary DutiesPRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Provide secure tactical driving services for Exelon executives with 24/7 availability. Conduct counter-surveillance on selected executives for Corporate Security. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all corporate matters, especially executive conversations and communications
- Provide support for Corporate Security functions and activities (e.g. Annual Shareholder Meeting, tabletop exercises, Executive Protection, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning, etc.)
- Conduct complex and confidential internal/external investigations for the Corporation. Identify internal controls issues and work with business unit management toward corrective action to prevent future problems from occurring. Input investigative incidents and results into the security case management system
- Establish and maintain federal, state, county and local law enforcement contacts and relationships
- Assist in supporting security for campuses through employee awareness campaigns
Job ScopeJOB SCOPE- Provide driving and protective services (including personal protection, residential security, travel security and special event security) for senior management
- Interact with all levels of employees, including senior executives and corresponding outside parties
- Conduct investigations to support or refute allegations, with an emphasis on independent and impartial fact finding, and investigate any actions which are perceived to be in violation of the Company's Code of Business Conduct
- Mitigate threats to the Company's people, infrastructure, and assets by responding to an array of emerging security issues potentially impacting Exelon Corporation
- Work under minimal supervision
Minimum QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree - In lieu of degree, a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required.
- 10 years of law enforcement experience with a medium to large agency or the equivalent combination of law enforcement/private investigative experience
- Ability to obtain Conceal Carry Permits and related certifications for applicable states, as necessary to carry concealed firearm when providing protection for employees.
- Ability to pass psychological assessment and annual wellness checks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- 24/7 availability
- Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally
- Ability to obtain (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) qualifications
Preferred QualificationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Advanced degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret or top secret clearance
- Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and/or other related certifications
- Experience in conducting advances of physical facilities
- Experience in business continuity and crisis management
- Prior corporate security, executive protection, and/or dignitary protection experience
