You\'ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities): Develop and
implement comprehensive credit risk management policies and procedures.
Evaluate and approve credit proposals, ensuring that they meet the
company\'s risk appetite and regulatory standards. Monitor the credit
quality of the corporate loan portfolio, identifying potential risks and
recommending mitigation strategies. Conduct regular reviews of credit
policies and adjust them as necessary to reflect changes in market
conditions and regulatory requirements. Promote a culture of
accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical behavior within the
credit team by leading, mentoring, and developing a team of credit
analysts and managers, providing guidance and ensuring a high level of
competence and performance. Make credit decisions and recommendations
based on thorough analysis and understanding of the client\'s financial
condition, industry trends, and economic outlook. Ensure that credit
facilities are appropriately structured and documented. Monitor and
manage the overall quality of the corporate credit portfolio, including
tracking key credit metrics and trends. Proactively identify potential
problem loans and work with relationship managers to develop action
plans for resolution. Work closely with bank funding sources and
maintain solid relationships to ensure there is always adequate funding
lines to support the financial needs of the organization.
