FULL-TIME APARTMENT COMMUNITY PORTER / GROUNDSKEEPER 858-531-3266
An apartment community is seeking a reliable, honest, and hardworking Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work, maintains a positive attitude, and helps keep our community clean, safe, and attractive.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, walkways, parking lots, and grounds
Pick up trash, debris, and litter throughout the property
Mop and sweep floors as needed
Clean pool deck and outdoor furniture
Clean and prepare vacant units, offices, and common areas
Perform light landscaping duties including watering, weeding, raking, mowing, edging, hedge trimming, and leaf blowing
Monitor and check irrigation systems
Apply fertilizer and assist with general grounds maintenance
Assist with light maintenance and general labor tasks
Move supplies, equipment, and materials as needed
Report maintenance, safety, or property concerns to management
Assist with occasional trenching, planting, irrigation repairs, drainage installation, and small enhancement projects
Ensure the property maintains a clean, professional appearance at all times
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with attention to detail
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Team player willing to assist with various duties as needed
Must be clean, neat, courteous, and professional
Valid California Driver's License is a plus
Reliable transportation required
Compensation:
Salary based on experience
