Win-Dor LLC: We are a window and door Manufacturer. We have several CNC saws, mills, welders, pneumatic punches, and pneumatic lift tables. We also have several different types of glass equipment.
Machinery Knowledge
- Basic understanding of all machinery in factory
- Turning on/off
- Cycling machine
- Move axis
Troubleshooting
- Most important attribute. Going through process of elimination. Creating the best solution to fix or improve problem.
- Overall idea is to keep production moving
Communication
- Communicating with operator or supervisor on problem.
- Possibly communication with manufacturer of machine in going through various testing sequences while speaking with the technician.
- Working with operators on general up keep
Electrical
- Understanding power route. In/Out. Example. Breaker- Machine- Switch- Fuses- Components.
- Checking fuses, power supply
Pneumatic
- Fixing air leaks. Teflon
- Soldering/welding
Mechanic
- Mechanical Aptitude for understanding and using machine or tools
- Handling of changing parts. Taking apart. Putting back together. Cleaning.
Maintenance
- Creating a schedule of performing Preventative Maintenance and Cosmetic maintenance
- Carrying out maintenance throughout the day. Scheduling yourself proper times to perform and carry out plan of action to not interrupt production. Off hours during week. Saturdays.
- Communicating with supervisors/Manager plan of action
Computer
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to navigate
