About the Role
As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact between Orange Crew and new prospective clients. Your job is to generate qualified appointments through outbound cold calling, email outreach, and lead follow-up — not to close deals, but to open doors. You'll work closely with our leadership team, follow a structured outreach process, and use modern sales tools to manage your pipeline. This is an in-office, full-time position based at our Santa Ana headquarters.
What You'll Do
Make outbound cold calls daily to prospective business clients across the country
Work assigned lead lists in Apollo.io and execute structured, multi-touch outreach sequences (calls, voicemails, emails, and LinkedIn touches)
Respond quickly to inbound leads from our marketing channels and qualify them for fit
Log every call, email, and interaction in our CRM accurately and on the same day
Schedule qualified discovery calls and appointments for our leadership team
Collaborate with your fellow SDR and sales supervisor to share scripts, feedback, and best practices
Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and ongoing sales coaching
Meet daily call volume targets and weekly appointment-setting goals
What We're Looking For
Strong verbal communication skills and a confident, friendly phone presence
Resilience and a positive attitude — cold calling means hearing 'no' often, and we're looking for someone who doesn't let that slow them down
Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline
Comfortable learning and using CRM and sales engagement tools (training provided)
Coachable — willing to take feedback and continuously improve scripts and approach
Self-motivated and able to manage a full day of outbound activity independently
Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a phone-based role is a plus, but not required — we provide full training
Interest in technology or IT services is a plus
What Success Looks Like
The first month is focused on training — learning our services, tools, and call approach. From there, you'll ramp into a full daily calling cadence with weekly appointment-setting goals, working both cold outbound leads and inbound opportunities. This is an in-office position based at Orange Crew's headquarters in Santa Ana, CA. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to this location.
