At Gre Wolf, the Maintenance Technician 1 oversees the day to day engineering operions in the lodge. This includes but is not limited to project management, general life safety, ordering, working with vendors. Responsible for completing preventive maintenance and repairs through-out the hotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings & grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubricion.
- Identify, loce, and opere all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items.
- Assure each day’s activities and problems th occur are communiced to the other shifts using approved communicion programs and standards.
- Ensures th all work performed is conducted in a safe and timely manner adhering to standards of safety and effective equipment utilizion.
- Maintains working knowledge of departmental safety procedures. Attends safety-training programs and in-service as required for continued development.
- Maintains the necessary service records on mechanical and structural systems.
- Ensure all standard opering procedures are followed for park operion, employee relions, timekeeping and safety. Including ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly documention is being completed.
- Other duties as deemed approprie by the Assistant Director of Engineering.
Qualificions:
- Technical Degree
- Technical Training
- Trade Reled Certificions
- Hospitality, Healthcare or reled industry experience
- Trade reled certificions preferred in HVAC and/or Electrical
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Ability to complete work heights up to 50 feet using ladders, harnesses and lifts.
- Computer skills including knowledge of dabase software, internet software, order processing systems, Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid Driver’s License
Estimed Salary Range:
- $23.00 annual base salary
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant educion, qualificions, certificions, experience, skills, seniority, geographic locion, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizional needs.
