A licensed La Mesa cannabis dispensary is hiring Hybrid Budtenders / Delivery Drivers for a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
This is a hybrid position: when you are not assigned to a delivery route, you will work on the sales floor as a budtender. When a route is ready, you will use a company-provided Tesla to complete multiple customer deliveries, return to the store, and resume budtending duties.
Pay and benefits
Starting at $17.00 per hour, based on experience

No need to use your personal vehicle for deliveries
Responsibilities
Deliver excellent, knowledgeable, and compliant customer service on the sales floor
Help customers select cannabis products based on their preferences, needs, and experience level
Maintain working knowledge of flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, beverages, topicals, and accessories
Verify customer IDs and follow all state, local, company, security, and compliance procedures
Accurately process POS transactions and responsibly handle cash
Prepare, verify, secure, and organize delivery orders before leaving the store
Drive scheduled, multi-stop delivery routes in a company-provided Tesla
Complete deliveries accurately, safely, professionally, and on time
Communicate with customers and the in-store team regarding delivery timing, route updates, delays, and any issues
Return to the dispensary after routes and transition back into budtending and customer-service responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure sales floor, register area, delivery staging area, and vehicle
Assist with restocking, inventory, receiving, opening/closing procedures, and other store duties as needed
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid California driver’s license
Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
Comfortable driving an electric vehicle and completing multi-stop routes throughout the San Diego area
Reliable transportation to and from the La Mesa dispensary for scheduled shifts
Cannabis dispensary, retail, hospitality, customer-service, or delivery experience is strongly preferred
Strong cannabis product knowledge, or the ability and willingness to learn quickly
Friendly, professional, polished, and customer-focused communication style
Dependable, punctual, organized, and comfortable working independently
Able to quickly transition between a busy retail floor and delivery responsibilities
Strong attention to detail for ID verification, order accuracy, cash handling, product handling, and compliance
Comfortable using a smartphone, GPS/navigation apps, delivery platforms, POS systems, and basic workplace technology
Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes or products as needed
Open availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred
Must be comfortable working in a highly regulated cannabis environment with strict security and compliance standards
