Express is looking for Soldering Technicians/Cable Assembly to start immediately with companies in the area of Clairemont Mesa. We are looking for an energetic team member to ensure the accurate and timely production and delivery of products. Perform hand-soldering operations using soldering irons, heat guns, and other devices to remove and replace components from PCB assemblies in accordance with company and industry standards.

Pay Rate: $22 – $25/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 1st shift available - 7 am - 3:30 pm plus OT

Soldering/Assembly Highlights:

Reads work orders, follows production documentation and/or sample assemblies, and/or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Performs the following tasks: labeling, wire cutting, stuffing, crimping, bag and tag, soldering, potting, IDC, SCSI, heat shrink, pc board soldering, back shelling, harnessing, harness board construction, box builds, kitting, create wire lists, "special projects", continuity testing, and pin extraction.
Ability to use hand tools- long nose pliers, side cutter, and soldering iron.
Maintain a clean work area
What We Look for in Soldering/Assembly Technicians

Ability to work individually and in a team setting
Basic math skills and ability to compute measurements accurately
Must have good hand/eye coordination and the ability to use microscopes
Knowledge IPC 610/ 620, J-STD-001 certification preferred
Attention to detail must be able to read and interpret blueprints
