Warranted Construction and Maintenance is hiring a full-time working foreman to run a crew. This is a hands-on leadership position — you'll be on the tools and also responsible for keeping the job moving, the crew productive, and the work done right the first time.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RUNNING
• Leading a small crew day to day — assigning work, setting pace, checking quality
• Reading plans and laying out the job
• Keeping materials, tools, and schedule ahead of the crew
• Communicating with the office and with clients on site
• Keeping the jobsite safe and clean
THE WORK
• Electrical — rough and finish, wiring, devices, troubleshooting
• Plumbing — repairs, fixture installs, drain and supply lines
• Framing — walls, headers, blocking, layout
• Concrete — forming, pouring, and finishing
• Finish carpentry — doors, trim, baseboard, cabinets
• Drywall, tile, and flooring
• Other trades work as it comes up — the job varies day to day
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 5+ years in the trades, well-rounded across different types of work
• Prior experience leading a crew or running jobs
• Strong in several of the trades above — you don't have to be an expert in all of them
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred — you'll be directing crew and talking with clients
• Own hand tools and reliable transportation
• Shows up on time, works clean, communicates clearly
THE JOB
• Full time, steady work year-round
• Overtime available as needed, paid at the legal rate
• $30-$40/hr depending on experience and what you bring to the table
• Jobs throughout San Diego County
