**Pacific Beach Laundry Co. | Pacific Beach, San Diego**
**$19/hour + tips | Morning shifts | Immediate hire**
Pacific Beach Laundry Co. is hiring two reliable, friendly part-time laundry attendants. We’re a locally owned laundromat with new equipment, Wash & Fold service, Pickup & Delivery, and a strong focus on making every customer feel welcome.
**This is an active, customer-facing job.** You’ll spend much of your shift on your feet, work with a steady flow of customers, and process Wash & Fold orders. You should enjoy staying busy, helping people, and taking pride in doing careful, consistent work.
## Schedule & Pay
Pay is **$19/hour plus tips**. Morning shifts begin at **6:00 AM**, and weekend availability is required. Please tell us which days and hours you’re available when you apply.
Morning attendants open the laundromat, so dependable, on-time attendance is essential.
## What You’ll Do
- Open the laundromat and get the store ready for customers
- Greet customers and help them use washers, dryers, laundry cards, and our app
- Process Wash & Fold orders from start to finish
- Wash, dry, fold, package, and organize customer laundry with care
- Receive and prepare Pickup & Delivery orders
- Enter and manage orders accurately in our POS system
- Keep customer orders separated and organized
- Clean machines, folding tables, floors, and customer areas throughout your shift
- Answer questions and resolve basic customer issues
## You’d Be a Great Fit If You
- Are reliable, punctual, and able to consistently arrive for a 6:00 AM shift
- Have reliable transportation and weekend availability
- Enjoy talking with and helping lots of customers
- Are comfortable being on your feet for much of your shift
- Fold neatly and pay attention to detail
- Can lift and move laundry bags and baskets
- Are organized and can keep track of several tasks at once
- Are comfortable using apps, tablets, and a POS system
- Are willing to clean and take pride in keeping the laundromat spotless
- Can work independently and notice what needs to be done
Experience folding laundry professionally is helpful, as is experience in laundry, hospitality, retail, or customer service. We’re happy to train the right people. Above all, we’re looking for attendants who care about customers and take ownership of their work.
## To Apply
Please send a brief introduction that includes your recent work experience (resume if you have one), your availability (including weekends), and why you think you’d be a good fit for Pacific Beach Laundry Co. If you have Wash & Fold or other folding experience, please mention it.
**Please do not stop by the laundromat to apply or inquire about the position.** Qualified applicants will first be contacted for a phone interview. Selected candidates will then be invited to an in-person interview.
