POSITION OVERVIEW:
Nebex is entering a phase of accelerated growth that requires consistent, professional hiring execution across multiple business functions.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be the first dedicated full-time hiring professional at Nebex, stepping into a role with real foundations already in place. By the time you join, core hiring processes will have been established and pressure-tested, an ATS system will be operational, and several hires will already be in progress or completed. This is not a build-from-scratch role, it is an opportunity to take ownership of an evolving hiring function and drive it to the next level of quality, consistency, and scale.
You will work directly with the COO and senior leadership, operate with significant autonomy, and be expected to continuously improve a function that is already moving.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for all active roles across engineering, product and commercial functions, managing multiple hires from start to finish simultaneously.
- Continue to build out and improve Nebex's hiring infrastructure for optimal efficiency, including ongoing refinement of ATS setup, interview frameworks, scorecards, and process documentation.
- Develop and manage talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs through proactive sourcing, market mapping and candidate engagement.
- Partner directly with the COO and senior stakeholders to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles and shape hiring decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement of structured interviewing and feedback processes to enhance the quality and consistency of hiring decisions.
- Track and report on hiring metrics, pipeline health and time-to-fill, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Manage candidate experience throughout the process, ensuring Nebex presents professionally in the market.
- Support employer branding and talent community development as the company scales.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- 8+ years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years in an early-stage or startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to hire across multiple functions simultaneously, including technical, product and commercial roles.
- Experience working within and improving hiring infrastructure, including ATS platforms, process design and reporting.
- Strong track record of managing founder and senior stakeholder relationships in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and limited structure, able to define and execute without close direction.
- New York based or willing to work from New York.
PREFERRED:
- Experience hiring within fintech, space tech, or similarly complex and innovative sectors.
- Genuine passion for the space economy and the infrastructure being built around it.
- Prior experience as a first or early TA hire, having built or scaled a hiring function.
- Familiarity with modern ATS platforms such as Ashby and other sourcing tools.
- Experience supporting early-stage, high-growth companies through periods of rapid hiring scale.
