About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly driven Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the CEO and operate across every function of the business. This role is equal parts strategic partner, operational leader, and execution-focused operator.
You will become an extension of the CEO, owning critical initiatives, driving cross-functional projects, and ensuring priorities are executed efficiently as the organization scales. What You'll Own
Executive Partnership
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO across all business functions
- Translate executive priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
- Manage high-priority communications, meetings, and executive follow-through
Strategic Initiatives
- Lead high-impact projects from concept through execution
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across operations, product, sales, marketing, and people teams
- Conduct research, analysis, and recommendations on key business decisions
Operational Excellence
- Improve internal processes and operating rhythms
- Build systems to increase organizational efficiency and accountability
- Ensure critical projects remain on track and stakeholders stay aligned
Business Growth
- Support go-to-market initiatives and strategic partnerships
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and executive presentations
- Assist with fundraising preparation, board materials, and investor communications when needed
Team Building
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and talent initiatives
- Help establish scalable frameworks and processes for future growth
- Partner with leadership to drive company-wide priorities
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- 1-5 years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, startup operations, business operations, strategy, private equity, venture capital, or a related field
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Proven track record of ownership and execution
- Willingness to handle both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational tasks
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university or evidence of exceptional professional achievement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or similar)
- Investment banking, venture capital, or private equity experience
- Prior Chief of Staff, Business Operations, or Strategy experience
- Experience working at a high-growth startup or technology company
- Founder, entrepreneurial, or startup-building experience
- Quantitative, technical, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or economics background
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams
