Must have Valid Drivers License Class B and experience with box trucks, stake beds truck and bobtail.

1st Shift : 6:00am-2:30pm OT if needed

The Bobtail Driver (Class B) is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using a straight truck (bobtail). This role ensures accurate deliveries, proper handling of materials, and compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a Class B bobtail truck in a safe and efficient manner
Perform local deliveries and pickups according to assigned routes
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure transport
Verify delivery orders, invoices, and customer documentation
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
Maintain accurate logs and delivery records
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Follow all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures
Qualifications
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Clean driving record
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to [X lbs])
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating a bobtail or straight truck
Knowledge of local routes and delivery areas
Forklift certification (a plus)
