About the Role:
As a Physical Educion Teacher Heritage Oak, you will design and deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum for elementary and middle school students th promotes physical wellness, motor skill development, teamwork, and social-emotional growth. You will cree a safe, inclusive, and active learning environment th encourages all students to participe, challenge themselves, and build lifelong fitness habits.
This role is ideal for educors who are enthusiastic about youth development, hletics, movement educion, and fostering positive student relionships.
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Physical Educion lessons aligned with grade-level learning objectives and student developmental needs

Teach a variety of physical activities, including fitness, team sports, movement skills, coordinion, and wellness educion

Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom culture th emphasizes teamwork, respect, perseverance, and sportsmanship

Promote physical fitness, healthy habits, and active lifestyles among students
-
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on participion, skill development, and effort
-
Ensure student safety during all physical activities and maintain approprie supervision standards
-
Organize and manage equipment, gym spaces, and outdoor activity areas

Collabore with teachers, administrors, and families to support student growth and school initiives

Maintain regular communicion with parents regarding student progress and participion

Support school events, hletic programs, assemblies, and community activities as needed
Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience teaching in a prive school or independent school setting

Knowledge of age-approprie physical development and fitness instruction

Ability to differentie instruction for diverse learning styles and abilities

CPR/First Aid certificion preferred

Experience leading school sports, enrichment programs, or extracurricular activities is a plus
Wh We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Educion, Kinesiology, Educion, or a reled field from an accredited college or university

Teaching credential or PE certificion preferred

Previous teaching or coaching experience with elementary and/or middle school students strongly preferred

Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
-
Passion for youth fitness, hletics, and student wellness
-
Excellent interpersonal, communicion, and collaborion abilities

Ability to pass ste and federal background checks
Physical Educion teacher to support K-8th grade students. Works alongside a PE team. Coaching for sports is an additional stipend, if interested.
