Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Estimators for projects located in San Diego, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
-will be working closely with an estimator. job will be in office/out in the field
- ppe will be onsite/will provide if necessary for certain jobs. they will be going site to site on occasion and getting the scope of work reading blueprints create a take off sheet
- perform takeoffs to measure and calculate exact quantities of sheet metal. this includes ductwork fittings hangers and specialized accessories. helping with proposals reading review and interpret complex engineering drawings schematics and architectural plans. calculate the man-hours required for fabrication and field installation based on historical productivity data. determine the cost of raw materials. prepare comprehensive competitive bid proposals and submit them before strict deadlines.
