Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vinyl Fence Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fabricating, assembling, and preparing vinyl fencing products to meet quality and production standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read specifications and drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble vinyl fence panels, gates, and related components according to specifications.
Measure, cut, route, drill, and prepare vinyl materials using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret work orders, shop drawings, and production schedules.
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with loading, packaging, and preparing finished products for delivery.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend process improvements.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in vinyl fence fabrication, fence manufacturing, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of vinyl fencing products and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read tape measures accurately and perform basic math calculations.
Experience using fabrication tools, saws, routers, drills, and other shop equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience fabricating custom gates and fence sections.
Welding or metal fabrication experience is a plus.
Knowledge of inventory management and material handling procedures.
