Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Monica, CA, for a Content Marketing Strategist who can help shape and execute how we communicate the science behind our products to multiple audiences.
Content plays a critical role in our business. Our products are clinically backed and evidence-based, which means our messaging must balance scientific rigor with accessibility. We communicate with both healthcare professionals and everyday consumers, and our content must translate complex clinical ideas into language that builds trust while remaining approachable.
This role is ideal for someone who is both analytical and creative - someone who can think strategically about messaging and positioning, while also writing and producing the content that brings that strategy to life.
You’ll work closely with leadership to understand our core messaging and clinical foundation, and over time help translate and scale that strategy across all marketing channels.
We’re looking for someone exceptionally thoughtful, curious, and capable - someone who enjoys deeply understanding a problem and building clear, compelling ways to communicate it.
What You’ll Do
Own and implement our content strategy
- Help translate company and product strategy into a cohesive content strategy across marketing channels
- Develop messaging that communicates our clinical credibility while remaining clear and approachable for consumers
- Support both B2B (healthcare provider) and direct-to-consumer content initiatives
Create high-quality content across channels
- Write and develop content across key channels including: Website pages, Blog and educational articles, Email marketing, SMS campaigns, Landing pages, Patient education materials, Provider education materials, Print collateral and marketing materials
- Partner with the brand team to bring content to life visually and the growth team to deploy it across campaigns.
- Ensure messaging is tailored appropriately for different audiences and stages of the customer journey
Translate science into compelling narratives
- Work closely with leadership to understand the clinical evidence and research behind our products
- Translate scientific and clinical concepts into content that is accurate, trustworthy, and easy to understand
- Maintain the balance between scientific credibility and consumer accessibility
Build and manage the content system
- Develop and maintain the editorial calendar aligned with product launches, growth initiatives, and campaigns
- Collaborate with the growth marketing team to support performance marketing and lifecycle initiatives
- Ensure messaging remains consistent and strategically aligned across all channels and touchpoints
- Serve as a connector between strategy, creative, and execution
Use data to improve content performance
- Track performance of content initiatives across engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics
- Use insights to refine messaging, formats, and distribution strategies
- Support SEO-driven initiatives and organic growth opportunities
Who You Are
- 4-7 years of experience in content marketing, strategy, consulting, or a related field
- Located within commutable distance to Santa Monica, CA
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
- Strong ability to simplify complex ideas without losing accuracy
- A structured, analytical thinker who enjoys understanding why messaging works
- Comfortable working across multiple audiences and channels
- Highly curious and intellectually driven - you enjoy learning new topics and going deep
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice to Haves
- Prior experience in management consulting, strategy, or research-driven environments
- Experience in healthcare, medical, biotech, or health/wellness industries
- Familiarity with SEO-driven content strategy
- Experience writing educational or science-based content
- Experience working in ecommerce or direct-to-consumer brands
What we offer
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $135,000, depending on experience and fit
