Role Overview
The IT Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and maintaining the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the efficient operation of technology resources, supports end users, and assists in achieving overall business objectives.
In addition to daily IT support, this role will help drive broader initiatives related to cybersecurity, systems reliability, infrastructure improvements, and long-term scalability across the business.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with high uptime and security expectations.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for users across the organization
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues
- Maintain and support company IT infrastructure including:
- Computers and mobile devices
- Network infrastructure
- Firewalls and VPNs
- Wi-Fi systems
- Servers and cloud platforms
- Backup and disaster recovery systems
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding, permissions, and access controls
- Support Microsoft 365 administration and end-user systems
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including:
- Endpoint protection
- MFA and user security policies
- Device management
- Security monitoring and best practices
- Coordinate with external IT vendors, MSPs, and cybersecurity providers as needed
- Support ERP, engineering, and manufacturing software systems across the business
- Help maintain IT documentation, procedures, and asset tracking
- Assist with implementation of cybersecurity and compliance initiatives related to aerospace and defense requirements
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support
- Strong understanding of:
- Windows environments
- Networking fundamentals
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Endpoint and device management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
- Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
Preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing or aerospace environments
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Experience with:
- Meraki networking infrastructure
- Windows Server environments
- Azure / Microsoft cloud environments
- Endpoint protection and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with:
- NIST 800-171
- CMMC requirements
- DFARS cybersecurity expectations
- Experience supporting ERP/MRP and engineering software environments
Location
This is an on-site role based at our manufacturing facility in Santa Ana, California.
Compensation
For this role, the target salary range is $70,000 – $110,000 (actual range may vary based on experience and performance).
This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, technical skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
