Responsibilities
- Manage daily front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for guests.
- Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support to enhance guest relations and service quality.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel or resort.
- Implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency while promoting a positive guest experience.
- Monitor front desk inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and excellence in guest service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong background in hospitality management is preferred, with an emphasis on resort or hotel environments.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests.
- Proficient phone etiquette and customer service skills are required to handle inquiries professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of hotel management software systems is a plus but not mandatory
