We are currently seeking a
Compliance Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in either
St. Petersburg, FL OR Miramar, FL. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $50 - 53/hr (W2)
- 6-month assignment with potential to extend or convert based on performance and continued need
- Hybrid role, 3 days onsite (Tue - Thu) in either St. Pete, FL or Miramar, FL
- Must be a US citizen due to government-related data access and program support
- This role supports high-volume onboarding and due diligence of Client-Facing Collaborators (CFCs), ensuring proper risk review, documentation, and approval before engagement
- Performs company-level due diligence (ownership structure, leadership, background checks, and risk indicators) rather than just transaction-level supplier screening
- Managed end-to-end case workflow including intake, review, follow-ups, documentation, and closure in alignment with risk and compliance standards
- Provides dedicated support for the US Government practice, ensuring timely processing of time-sensitive onboarding and compliance requests
- Conducts outreach to external collaborators to college missing information, resolve discrepancies, and drive completion of onboarding requirements
- Maintains audit-ready documentation across systems and ensures adherence to SOPs and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in onboarding operations, due diligence, compliance, legal operations, third-party risk, or related coordination roles
- Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with strong case management responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risk flags, inconsistencies, and missing information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with senior stakeholders and external parties
- Experience with case management tools such as Salesforce and Jira strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and document management systems
- Familiarity with research tools such as Dun & Bradstreet, Factiva, or similar platforms preferred
