Utility Operator
Primary Responsibilities:
Support manufacturing objectives by performing a wide variety of manufacturing tasks, such as thread protect, measuring, sorting, boxing, painting, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate sleeve machines to make sufficient quantity of sleeves and insert individual fasteners in sleeves in accordance with specifications for thread damage control (e.g. thread protect).
2. Perform dimensional inspection of threaded fasteners using micrometers, protrusion gauges, various thread inspection tools, etc. sort according to specification requirements.
3. Set up and operates packaging machines to bag fasteners to customer criteria and quantity and generate labels for each.
4. Construct boxes and affix labels as appropriate to customer specifications.
5. Set fasteners in rack and paints heads according to customer specifications, move parts to next operation according to specification requirements.
6. Prepare jobs (e.g. egg crate) for outside processing and/or moving to next internal process.
7. Assist with cycle counting, inventory control, etc.
8. Read and comprehend GD&T in customer drawings and specifications.
9. Maintain clean, safe and orderly work area.
Essential Job Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Must be proficient in the use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, thread gauges, tri-roll, dial indicators, and comparators.
2. Ability to analyze & interpret customer drawings and specifications, and quality system practices.
3. Basic math skills such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, decimals, fractions & percentages to meet job requirements.
4. Ability to accurately record measurements and results on corresponding documentation.
5. Familiar with visual manufacturing and stock lists / inventory reference
6. Must be results oriented and motivated self-starter with a strong history of delivering results which meet or exceed standards.
7. Strong interpersonal skills may include; listening, speaking and writing.
8. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
9. Effective team member, contributing to a positive, cooperative and productive work environment in accordance with company values.
10. Consistently seek ways to improve productivity with the goal of improving accuracy and efficiency. this approach to work Encourages all team members to be their best.
11. Familiar with aerospace quality system practices, mechanical and physical laboratory testing, dimensional inspection and/or specification interpretation preferred.
12. Language skills - must read, write and speak in English. Bilingual in Spanish are a plus.
13. Experience - 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
14. Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment and/or fastener industry preferred.

Parts Wash
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs assigned/scheduled parts washing and secondary operations in manufacturing, cleaning, glass beads and/or other services in areas where needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operate cleaning system using appropriate wash methods and process to remove oil and coolants from product.
2. Maintain the cleaning solution in the tanks per work instruction and perform basic preventative maintenance.
3. Operate vibratory deburr machine according to procedure.
4. Operate glass bead machines as well as maintain the filters.
5. Operate vapor hone equipment per work instruction to achieve desired finish on product.
6. Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements, knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Ability to understand verbal or written instructions or guidance provided on special assignments.
2. Calculate figures using basic shop math
3. Read and interpret blueprints.
4. Accurately enter data into computer program.
5. Work overtime as required.
6. Language skills - must read, write and speak in English. Bilingual in Spanish are a plus.
7. Experience - 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
8. Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment and/or fastener industry preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Shop certification such as NTMA is highly desired.
