Job Title: Painter (Residential/Commercial)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. This role involves both surface preparation and painting for residential and/or commercial projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and understands that proper prep work is essential to a durable, professional finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and tape
Repair minor drywall, wood, or surface imperfections before painting
Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
Ensure smooth, even coverage and clean lines
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as required
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Previous painting experience (residential or commercial preferred)
Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques
Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Reliable transportation and punctuality

Experience with spray applications and specialty coatings
