Busy days: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Lighter days: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 3:30 PM
Salary: $18 an hour
About Us:
Our facility is a Bonded Warehouse where we provide importing & exporting services such as U.S.D.A. inspections, certifications and storage.
Responsibilities:
• Receive documents from incoming truck drivers, check them in, and dispatch drivers when they leave.
• Answer phone calls, greet clients, and handle general office tasks.
• Help with paperwork for loading and unloading shipments.
• Solve problems related to transportation, customer questions, imports, exports, and inventory.
• Make sure each shipment has the correct paperwork and send it to drivers and customers by email.
• Prepare and check import/export documents (like bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms) for accuracy.
• Track document status and work with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support customers, vendors, suppliers, agents, and government offices to coordinate vehicle shipments.
• Help research and resolve any issues that come up during operations.
• Create invoices, organize, and file paperwork.
• Learn other office roles to fill in when needed.
Requirements:
• Must be able to speak and write clearly in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Able to think quickly and solve problems.
• Friendly and professional with customers.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
