The Impact You'll Make
As our Bookkeeper & Financial Manager, you’ll be the financial heartbeat of our projects. From progress billing to vendor payments, you’ll ensure our numbers tell the real story of where we are and where we’re going. Your expertise will keep projects on track, cash flow healthy, and our team confident in every financial decision.
What You'll Do
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple construction projects using QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare and process progress billings in compliance with contract terms and project milestones.
• Track project budgets, costs, and profitability—providing timely reports to leadership.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements monthly.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast cash flow and manage change orders and monthly billings.
• Maintain compliance with tax filings, lien releases, and industry-specific financial requirements.
• Implement and refine financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Bring
• 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online and construction-specific accounting workflows.
• Strong knowledge of progress billing format.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret contracts and translate them into accurate billing schedules.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with project managers, vendors, and clients.
• A proactive mindset—anticipating issues before they become problems.
