If so, Movies By Kids is currently looking for fun, high energy, and self starter type of people to teach children moviemaking, animation, and YouTube production.
Starts mid-June until the first or second week of August. (No camps the week of July 4th) Must be available for the entire Summer!
Perfect for teachers looking for Supplementary Summer income, people who work evenings, or free-lancers looking for extra money! :-)
The Animation is easy to learn (App-based and very user friendly) but I need a STRONG personality who isn't intimidated by kids, and has at least basic filmmaking experience! Must have experience working with kids!
MOVIES BY KIDS is a unique Summer program where kids write, direct, and star in their own ANIMATED, LIVE-ACTION, or "YouTube" STYLE short movies. Basic Editing skills and software required, as is some familiarity with the iMovie app on iPads.
Basic Filmmaking and experience with children is important, but we will also train and provide all materials.
Cell phone and reliable auto a must.
MUST attend a paid training session in late May. Exact date and time TBD
Looking for:
1. Full Timers- 9am to 4pm with an hour lunch
2. Mornings Only- 9am-12pm. possible occasional sub for afternoons.
You will not be considered if you:
- Are looking for anything other than a seasonal Summer job.
-Unable to pass a Livescan background check.
- Unable to attend the mandatory training.
