Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Director of IT, based in Miami, FL. The Assistant Director of IT will oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring seamless functionality of systems and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, maintaining network security, devising IT strategies, optimizing IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with department leaders to identify and implement technology solutions. The role requires a proactive approach to technology management to support the hotel's operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in IT Management and overseeing IT Operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Information Technology and Network Security principles.
- Experience in developing and implementing IT Strategies to optimize systems and processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in IT environments.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the hospitality industry and understanding of its unique IT needs is a plus.
