Job Summary and Qualifications
The Director of the Cardiovascular Lab assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the Cardiac Cath Lab; Pre/Post Holding Unit, and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. The Director of Cardiovascular Lab is responsible for staff performance and accomplishment of department responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital, departmental, and safety policies and procedures, to meet both company and regulatory requirements. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care and acts as liaison for patients and their representatives. Promotes teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management. The Director is also responsible for the efficient operation of the department while optimizing resources to maximize productivity and minimize both indirect and direct costs.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 6 years of Cardiac Cath Lab clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
- Minimum of 3 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital setting

These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care.
