Job Description (Datastage Administrator)
• 5-6 Years Exp with 2-3 years working experience as Datastage Administartor.
• Performs Datastage installation and applies maintenance patches.
• Perform environment monitoring capacity and performance tuning.
• Performs system level and application level tuning and other DataStage administration activities.
• Supports the application development teams for DataStage needs and guidance.
• Liaises with product vendors and technical specialists to resolve issues.
• Manage, support, configure, install, upgrade IBM Information Server Environment version 7.x/8.x/11.x.
• Backup/DR Process, Outage/Reboot Process (Pre / Post Outage activities)
• User Access -Creation of new users
• Assigning access to users and groups
• Removal of users and access
• Upgrading/degrading the security/access of the users.
