The Refrigeration Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships with a focus on commercial refrigeration systems. Responsibilities will also include developing a positive customer relationship while continually managing every aspect of the account(s) to ensure a successful partnership.
Responsibilities and skills: - Act as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial refrigeration accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with facility management teams
- Understand client needs and provide tailored refrigeration service solutions
- Partner with internal service teams to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery
- Conduct regular virtual and on-site client meetings to review performance and align expectations
- Respond to service issues with urgency and professionalism
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling services
- Maintain detailed records of client communications, proposals, and service agreements
- Share client feedback with internal teams to improve offerings and service delivery
- Work closely with operations and dispatch to meet service expectations
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience in refrigeration sales, account management, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in building and managing customer relationships
- Familiarity with facility management operations and processes
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems and industry best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred: experience in the grocery, retail, or food service industries; technical training or background in HVAC/R systems
