We are seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused Part Time Restaurant Busser to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
Position Summary
The Restaurant Busser plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room. This position supports servers and kitchen staff by promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food delivery when needed, and ensuring the restaurant remains clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout each shift.
Essential Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Respond promptly to guest requests or direct them to the appropriate team member.
Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional hospitality at all times.
Assist in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable dining environment.
Dining Room Operations:
Clear tables quickly and efficiently after guests depart.
Reset tables according to restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, booths, chairs, floors, windows, and service stations.
Polish and stock glassware, silverware, and table settings.
Refill water stations, condiments, and service supplies.
Assist servers with beverage refills and food running as needed.
Support large parties and banquet-style service when required.
Sanitation & Safety:
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain clean service stations throughout the shift.
Remove trash and recyclables as needed.
Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Teamwork:
Work closely with servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff.
Assist with opening and closing side work.
Help maintain smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
