In search of a A-Tech
• Examines, Identifies damages and efficiently plans repair process.
• Perform non-structural, structural and frame repairs, including pulling, straightening, measuring, and correcting unibody and full-frame vehicles.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping cycle time in mind.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
• Welds, Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Review every line item of each vehicle's repair order and inspect every vehicle to insure that all the repairs are complete
• Proper pre-fit and fit of replacement parts and components.
• Work closely with estimators, painters, and management to keep repairs moving efficiently through production.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and procedures performed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
• Ability to use frame and measuring machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred, Steel Sectioning & Steel Welding.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check
