We are looking for a reliable and experienced CNC PROGRAMMER / Machinist to join our team.
Position: Machinist – Full Time
Location: Poway, CA
Pay: $28-35/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40hrs/wk
Responsibilities:
• Program, set up, and sometimes run machining jobs on Haas CNC machines.
• Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• perform measurements to ensure fitment between parts.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning (greasing, adding oil, washing down).
• Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
• Machines in question:
-2025 VF3YTSS w/ 70 tool ATC (most parts are designed to use a “standard loadout” of tools in this machine to eliminate job set-up)
-1994 VF4 w/20 tool umbrella tool changer
• Parts are typically flat rectangular plates with a variety of holes in them, in quantities of 1-20. Parts are typically small enough to be done as vice work but exceed the travel limits of the machine on rare occasions. (assistance will be provided in setup/programming of large parts if you lack experience in that area)
Qualifications:
• Previous machining and CAM experience required
• Ability to use CAM software (Solidworks plugin HSM Xpress is preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
