EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC – $30-$45 HR

**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
SJC Automotive Service Inc. is a busy, family-owned automotive repair shop in **San Juan Capistrano, CA**, serving Southern California for 15+ years. We recently moved to a new location and are looking to add an **experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic** to our team.
We are looking for someone who is confident with **diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing all makes and models**. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving difficult diagnostic problems, and want to work in a professional and positive shop environment, we'd like to hear from you.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Diagnose and repair vehicles of all makes and models
* Perform advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics
* Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and repairs
* Inspect and test vehicles to identify necessary repairs and adjustments
* Accurately diagnose drivability and performance concerns
* Provide accurate labor and repair-time estimates
* Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality repair standards
* Communicate effectively with the team
QUALIFICATIONS
* **3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred**
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Experience using professional automotive diagnostic equipment
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
* Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and accurately
* Experience working on multiple makes and models
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Valid driver's license
* Reliable transportation
