Our newly constructed senior living community is building an exceptional care team, and we’re looking for experienced Medication Technicians (Med Techs) who take pride in accuracy, reliability, and providing outstanding service to seniors.
You’ll provide medication assistance while working closely with licensed nurses and caregivers to support the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Medication Technician at Belmont Village, you will assist residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community with their daily medications, monitor their responses and maintain accurate electronic medical records under the supervision of a licensed Nurse. You will support our licensed nurses with administrative tasks as needed. This is an excellent position for candidates who aspire to someday be a licensed nurse.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Medication Assistance and Personal Care: Follow physician’s orders and community guidelines for assisting with routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as needed
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.
Vital Sign Monitoring: Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.
Shift Communication: Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
Customer Satisfaction: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfaction
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility
C.N.A. License in states where required
Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
