Qualifications
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and TB test
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance as required by licensure regulations
• Current Food Handler's Certification required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience in healthcare, dietary services, or senior living preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve meals according to prescribed diet orders, food allergies, and resident preferences
• Prepare and deliver nourishments at 10:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and bedtime as requested to Goldberg Healthcare residents
• Alert the Charge Nurse upon delivery of nourishments
• Maintain an up-to-date list of residents assigned nourishments
• Tally all selective menus before each meal and communicate special menu requests to the cook prior to meal service
• Maintain current dietary records, including:
Diet Orders
Beverage Preferences
Adaptive Equipment Lists
Food Allergies
Food Likes and Dislikes • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized dining environment
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and guests
