We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook with a strong background in Italian cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team in the Orange/Brea area. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced dinner service environment, maintains high standards of food quality and presentation, and possesses a strong foundational knowledge of classic Italian cooking techniques. Experience stretching, dressing, and baking artisanal or traditional pizzas is a major plus and will be given priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities Execute: classic Italian menu items including pastas, sauces, sautés, and proteins with consistency and precision during high-volume dinner shifts.Prepare, stretch, top, and bake pizzas to order (experience with deck, commercial pizza ovens is preferred).Set up and stock the station with all necessary tools, ingredients, and prepped items prior to the 4:00 PM dinner rush.Comply with all Orange County health, safety, and sanitation guidelines regarding food handling, storage, and temperature controls.Collaborate effectively with expo, front-of-house staff, and fellow line cooks to ensure smooth ticket times and exceptional guest experiences.Complete proper closing station breakdown, cleaning, and food storage protocols at the end of the shift.Requirements & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of professional line cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.Demonstrated working knowledge of traditional Italian culinary methods, knife skills, and station management.Direct experience working with pizza preparation and oven management is strongly preferred.
