Campaign Canvasser – Door-to-Door Outreach
Location: Buena Park, CA — Main campaign office near The Source OC (exact location given time of interview)
Pay: $18/hour
Position: Part-Time / Temporary Campaign Position
We are looking for friendly, confident, and outgoing individuals to join a local City Council campaign as Campaign Canvassers.
This is a door-to-door community outreach position. Canvassers will report to our Buena Park campaign office before heading into assigned neighborhoods to speak with local residents.
Responsibilities
* Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods
* Introduce the candidate and communicate key campaign priorities
* Engage residents in friendly, professional conversations
* Distribute campaign materials
* Encourage residents to vote and support the candidate
* Track doors visited and voter feedback
* Represent the campaign professionally
Ideal Candidate
* Confident, outgoing, and comfortable approaching new people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Sales, customer service, canvassing, hospitality, or other public-facing experience preferred
* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable walking outdoors for several hours
* Able to learn and consistently communicate campaign talking points
Available Shifts
Shift 1 — Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday.
Hours: 4:30–7:30 PM
Shift 2 — Monday / Wednesday / Friday
Hours: 4:30–7:30 PM
Shift 3 — Saturday Only
Hours: 9:30 AM–1:30 PM
