INTERIOR DESIGN INTERN (RESIDENTIAL) ENTRY LEVEL - Blackband Design, Orange County

Our team of talented and down-to-earth designers executes creativity across all architectural styles, works collaboratively in our Costa Mesa design studio and finds fun in the fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• WORK AT THE FRONT DESK, ANSWER PHONES
• GREET CLIENTS
• ORGANIZE DESIGN LIBRARY, MAINTAIN FINISH SAMPLES AND PAINT SWATCHES
• ASSIST DESIGNERS
• DEVELOP PRESENTATIONS IN POWERPOINT
• HELP SET UP CONFERENCE ROOMS FOR PRESENTATIONS
• ACCEPT DELIVERIES. RECEIVE, UNBOX, PRICE AND TAG MERCHANDISE.
• RUN ERRANDS
• ASSIST WITH PROJECT INSTALLATIONS
• HELP MAINTAIN OVERALL SHOWROOM
QUALIFICATIONS
• MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CAR AND CELL PHONE
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK IN PERSON FROM OUR DESIGN STUDIO IN COSTA MESA
• MUST HAVE A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF AUTOCAD, SKETCHUP, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, AND ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE
HOURS: 16-24 hours per week
SALARY : $17/hour
