Set-up, operate, adjust, and edit programs on CNC Lathes or CNC Mills. Check work for conformity, print specifications and quality standards; Perform related job duties as assigned. Must be fully experienced with excellent work habits. Some Programming a plus
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and adjust program/offsets on CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls or CNC Mills with Fanuc Controls or Fadal Controls. Have a solid understanding on engineering specifications, production drawings, production procedures, and verbal instructions.
* Check work in process for adherence to quality and production standards; Also Insure first articles are done on each job. Continue to inspect parts through production run.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment operating conditions; insure routine maintenance is done on machinery.
* Complete accurate production/work records: Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.
* Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position.
* Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.
